We’re always on the look-out for volunteers willing to share their skills – or even learn new ones – to help spread the word about Fair Trade in Bristol.
Whether you’re already a long-time supporter of Fair Trade, or just finding out about it, and no matter how much time you have to commit, we can find something that fits for you.
Festival of Nature
We have always had a successful presence at the annual Festival of Nature and this weekend long event benefits from a lot of volunteers being available. If the Festival returns in the future we hope to be there and will put out the call for your help.

Event volunteers
Our group of ad hoc volunteers represents Bristol Fair Trade at events around the city. This may involve chatting to people about Fair Trade and our Network, handing out flyers and samples or, in some cases, speaking to groups. You can volunteer as little or as often as you like, and you don’t need any former experience or knowledge of Fair Trade.

If you’d like to join our group of Event Volunteers, please contact volunteer@bristolfairtrade.org.uk to discuss any training needs, or—if you feel ready to dive straight in— let us know and we'll add you to our Volunteer News to receive the latest opportunities to volunteer in the city. Run your own event
Can’t see an event that takes your fancy? No problem! If you’ve seen an event you’d like to attend on behalf of Bristol Fair Trade, or you’d like to run your own Fair Trade event, contact volunteer@bristolfairtrade.org.uk to discuss how we can support you.
Officer roles
We have a dedicated group of voluntary Officers who meet regularly to work behind the scenes for Bristol Fair Trade Network. Each Officer has a specific role linked to their current skills or to skills they would like to learn. You can view current Officer opportunities below. If you can’t see the right opportunity for you, don’t worry! Contact Volunteer Coordinator to see how to make the best use of your skills with Bristol Fair Trade.
Social Media Officer
The role of Social Media Officer is currently taken, but will be vacant again in the summer. Contact us to register your interest.
Photography Officer
We're on the look out for budding photographers to snap great shots of our events and activity in the city. Get in touch if you'd like to find out more.
Website Officer
We're looking for a volunteer to help us maintain our website (through Wix platform). This is a brilliant role to develop sought-after web editing skills in a relaxed setting. Contact us to discuss the opportunity.
Projects
Bristol Fair Trade has occasional fixed term, voluntary projects that will be listed here when they arise. If you’d like to be considered for project work in the future, please send a brief email including your reason for enquiring and your availability to coordinator@bristolfairtrade.org.uk
